Lewis Barlow is an Edinburgh based magician and mentalist. He commissioned me to produce some publicity images for his show which was part of the Edinburgh International Magic Festival 2013.

Tricity Vogue runs a free ‘Ukelele Cabaret’ during the Edinburgh Festival. This year, it is in the Counting House. It features a variety of acts – the only rule is you need to use a Ukelele in some way.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe runs for three weeks in August every year and sees the population of the city double. The main street in the Old Town, The Royal Mile, is filled with larger than life characters promoting their shows, living statues and street performers.

Princess Porcelain is a model based in Edinburgh. I have done a number of shoots with her, mostly where she is wearing Lolita clothes. This is a fashion which originated in Japan and is based on Rococo designs. We have also experimented with facepaint and Vampire themes.

Beltane is a Pagan festival held every year on Calton Hill, Edinburgh

I was invited by Tricity Vogue to photograph her Ukelele Cabaret at the Three Sisters, Cowgate, Edinburgh during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2010.
