Lewis Barlow is an Edinburgh based magician and mentalist. He commissioned me to produce some publicity images for his show which was part of the Edinburgh International Magic Festival 2013.

The weather forecast today was for a spectacular sunset this evening so I walked up to Salisbury Crags to get a good view over the city. I knew that the sunset would be happening almost behind the castle and there was a chance of getting some great photos.

Tricity Vogue runs a free ‘Ukelele Cabaret’ during the Edinburgh Festival. This year, it is in the Counting House. It features a variety of acts – the only rule is you need to use a Ukelele in some way.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe runs for three weeks in August every year and sees the population of the city double. The main street in the Old Town, The Royal Mile, is filled with larger than life characters promoting their shows, living statues and street performers.
